摘要：青礞石治疗痰证历史悠久，疗效确切，但其效应机制及药效物质基础尚不明确，相关文献报道也较少。
通过对青礞石治疗痰证近30年的文献研究，作以下综述，为青礞石的现代研究提供参考。

主要含二氧化硅、镁、铁、铝等，《中华本草》将其归为镁类矿物药。
本品甘、咸、平，归肺、心、肝经。
具坠痰下气、平肝镇惊之功效，用于顽痰胶结、咳逆喘急、癫痫发狂、烦躁胸闷、惊风抽搐[1]。
青礞石的临床应用历史悠久，被视为治顽痰癖结之神药，治惊利痰之圣药[2]。
青礞石始载于《嘉祐本草》：礞石一名青礞石。
《本草蒙筌》：成末以水飞细，入药作散为丸。
力能坠痰，滚痰丸比用。
